happy friday!

YAY! It's Friday, and although for normal jobs, it signals the weekend, but for hairstylists... Saturdays are our busiest days (so one more day!) :]
I've been getting quite busy with making bobby pins and headbands and catching up on friends' orders for them but I wanted to do a seperate post here to show a few of my newest headbands!

new york was beautiful, we got makeovers and those pictures are with my new favorite STILA artists :] the decorations were beautiful, battling the crowds with our umbrellas, either as weapons or shields! The amazing carmelized vanilla smells of roasted nuts wafting down the streets, and topped with flurries (after a day of rain)...
the weather was pretty awful but that didn't deter us from having a wondeful day!

Thanksgiving was in my book an A++ this year. It was filled with a warm comfy house, lots of laughing, love, food (of course) and a lot to be thankful for. We all went out the night before to our local bar which is basically a high school reunion because EVERYONE goes and although I was skeptical hours before leaving, I ended up having a good time. After a while though, too many drunk people + drinking water all night = leaving around 12:30am which was perfect for me :]
As you can tell from the photo above... thee boy and I attempted to make cookies. Key word "attempted". The first batch came out great....the second? not so much.

oh tralala a new shop update!

okay peeps! I just updated the shop with a few new headbands and bobbypins!!! yayyy

22 & 2

I'm officially 22 and oh god do I feel old.
The day of my birthday (the 15th) thee boy and I went to the art museum in Philadelphia...the weather was 70 degrees and it was perfect... just walking around the city and shopping after, grabbing a quick bite to eat at the pita pit (mmmmm!) and drinking vitamin water at top notch speed. Later that night we just cuddled up and watched the movie The Namesake which made me want to go to indiaaaaa... silks and glass bangles and wooden elephants...

the day after my birthday was our 2 year anniversary already..crazy.

oh baby.

so I have be absolutely delayed in doing absolutely ANYTHING.... I caught a bit of a cold last weekend and pronounced by the doctor this morning, all my caughing is attributed to bronchitis...sweet.
I'll be back posting in no time! (hopefully) :]

p.s. my bday is on sunday! ahhh 22 years old and I'm currently going through a midlife crisis oh dear.
